San Diego, Torrey Pines, Cabrillo National Monument, and the Seal Tour
Oh, San Diego. It's was so nice to meet you!
After leaving Hollywood, CA we headed south and scored the best site at a little site at a place called Lake Jennings Campground. The campground itself was pretty run down which is a shame because it has so much potential, but the views were incredible!
We opted for a dry campsite (no hookups) so that we would have an amazing view. All the other sites with utilities had very restricted views and cramped next to one another. I think we made the right decision.
We came to San Diego to explore Torrey Pines and to find Sea Lions. And we managed to do both! Plus we saw that Cabrillo National Monument was there so you know we went to get another Junior Ranger Badge!
We want to give a special thanks to Old Town Trolley/SEAL Tours of San Diego for making it possible to see some Sea Lions!
