Our first visit to Universal Studios Hollywood

I’ll admit it. I wasn’t super excited about visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. If you know us, you know we’d rather be hiking mountains alone than stuck in a city surrounded by thousands of people. I get anxiety when we have to be in large groups so putting me in the middle of a theme park just sounded like the worst idea.

In this episode we’re visiting the little town of Wickenburg, AZ (just west of Phoenix) where we stayed out in the desert for 2 weeks enjoying those unforgettable Arizona sunsets and picking jumping cholla out of our appendages. We love this little town full of friendly, helpful people, and home to a little treasure called the Hassayampa River Preserve.
